Football - McAllen Memorial at Sharyland

The Game of the Week took place Friday night at Rattler Stadium with heavy hearts and full of emotions. The 6-0 McAllen Memorial Mustangs faced the 6-0 Sharyland Rattlers in a battle to gain supremacy in District 30-5A. The Memorial Mustangs controlled the game in the first half and took a 21-0 lead to the half. The Sharyland Rattlers came out strong in the second half and scored two touchdowns to make it a seven point game trailing 21-14. Eventually the McAllen Memorial Mustangs got the momentum back and prevailed with a 28-14 score and a 7-0 record.
