Basketball - Edinburg HS at Vela HS

A very young rivalry, but still a rivalry took place at Robert Vela High School on Tuesday night. In the first game of the doubleheader, the Edinburg Vela Lady Sabercats surprised the Edinburg Lady Bobcats and took the game late in the fourth quarter.

In the second game, the Edinburg Bobcats took it to the Edinburg Vela Sabercats early and never looked back. The Edinburg Vela Sabercats could not overcome a strong performance by the Edinburg Bobcats and lost the second game to leave things even.
