Juarez-Lincoln v Palmview Football

The sister schools of Palmview and Juarez-Lincoln met Friday night at La Joya ISD Stadium, and the Huskies went home with a tight 13-7 win.  They drew first blood on a mid second quarter touchdown and the Lobos tied it with 31 seconds to go before the half.  With J-L starting quarterback Ramiro Garza injured during play, junior Edward Garcia came in to run the offense and pick up a 4th quarter score, though the PAT failed.  The Huskies defense rose to the occasion and stopped a late Palmview drive within sight of the goal.  Pictured here is Garcia picking up some yardage.
