These are the story lines behind Friday night's game at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium between the Nikki Rowe Warriors and the McAllen Memorial Mustangs. Both teams did not disappoint the crowd. The Memorial Mustangs took the lead and the game seem one-sided at one point, but the tenacity of the Nikki Rowe Warriors showed up and they put a strong second half to take the lead back. After the Mustangs tied the game in the fourth, they surprised the Warriors with an onside kick and eventually score the winning field goal to take the victory 31-28.
