Football - Weslaco High @ McHi

A close race in District 31-5A was the setting for the game between the Weslaco Panthers and the McHi Bulldogs. The Panthers needed a District win to stay in the playoff race, while the Bulldogs wanted to put some distance between them and the rest of the district rivals. When it was all done, the Weslaco Panthers walked away with the victory over the McHi Bulldogs 19-7. This certainly makes things very interesting in District 31-5A. Stayed tuned for next week's games as this tough district play unfolds.
